Dee Platt was born in Hampshire and moved to London in her childhood. She was employed for many years in secretarial and administrative roles with a number of high profile U.K. companies.

Training in complementary medicine commenced in 1991, initially studying massage, anatomy and physiology at the Churchill School of Massage where she gained their own Certificate and then the internationally recognized ITEC qualification in holistic massage, anatomy and physiology. Further training in advanced massage techniques followed (which included the use of aromatherapy oils, lymph drainage and on-site massage) and reflexology.

She then studied Kinesiology and became a diplomat of the Academy of Systematic Kinesiology in 1996. Since qualifying she has attended numerous courses for on-going kinesiology practitioner training. She is currently studying for a Diploma with the British Institute for Allergy and Environmental Therapists and has completed the practitioner level course of High Touch® Jin Shin, becoming a member of the Practitioner Network.

Additionally she has attended courses in Iridology, Reiki I and II, Phytobiophysics, Aura Soma and recently Emotional Freedom Technique.
